Why Join Seaford Life Saving Club
Seaford Life Saving Club has something for everyone and we welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and physical abilities. The clubs main functions are to provide beach patrols during the summer period; to educate children and adults in water safety and to provide a community venue for healthy lifestyles, personal fitness and competition.
Seaford LSC provides a range of different opportunities for members to participate and develop their skills and knowledge. Members can participate in all areas of the club including beach patrols, club programs, competition and life saving courses and awards. Members have the use of club facilities and equipment. There are also a number of social functions and events that members can be involved in throughout the year. Whilst the club has many activities and events, all of these contribute in some way to supporting the club’s primary function of providing a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for all visitors to Seaford beach.
We encourage all members to become active members of our club. Seaford LSC provides training to develop skills and proficiencies required to become actively involved as beach patrollers and first aiders along with other roles to support our club programs, such as Nippers. Members can also contribute by nominating for a position on the committee or other sub-committees. There is also a range of other areas beside the traditional beach and water activity roles that you can be involved in to assist the running of the club.
Joining a Life Saving Club is a unique and rewarding experience that can ultimately change your life and the lives of the Victorian beach going public.
